Ummm...I don't know. He never saw any reason to go to Iraq and he was right (no WMD or ties to the terrorists) and he was kind of running for the US Senate at that time.

Our enemies were never the Iraqis. It was Bin Laden and his supporters. I think we actually did Bin Laden a flavor by going into Iraq, taking out Saddam who he does not like too much, and having such a taxing commitment there still.

He did say that he would adjust based on ground conditions. There is a 60 minute video here that can confirm that. Think it was dated in March. The only real difference between his plan and McCain's plan is that he would get you guys out faster and no pernament base. Since Afganistain is desperate for troops and we might go to war with Iran, I think Obama's idea is slightly better.

Don't worry my comrade, European soldiers are our brothers and sisters, and here in America we chant and salute them just as much as our own, I served for 8 years, till 2006nov. and I was/am willing to die right next to my european brothers just as much as my own. Right now america is wounded and we don't know how it truely happened, all I know is that with european help we will all come out strong, just like in WW2 when we fought alongside our brothers in arms, we still fight together.

The U.S. debt is over $9 trillion. A billion seconds is approx. 32 years. A trillion seconds is roughly 32 thousand years. At a dollar a second, you'd pay back a TRILLION dollars by 34007. At a dollar a second and no further spending, the U.S. could be debt-free by 290007. If the avg. American family of five owes at least $149,737,50 in assets excluding liabilities. America is bankrupt! Buddy can ya spare some change?
